This design is a tribute to the July Revolution of 1830, and to the figure who led it not with a name, but with a symbol — Liberty.

In the summer of 1830, the people of Paris rose against King Charles X and his crackdown on press and political freedoms. Over three days, students, workers, and citizens built barricades and pushed the monarchy to collapse.

Immortalized in Delacroix’s painting, Liberty stands barefoot, dress torn, leading them through smoke and blood. She is not a queen or a martyr. She is the people in motion. Armed. Unafraid. Alive.

In the painting, she is called Marianne. But she is also every uprising that followed. She is the spirit that says no when power says silence.

This shirt reclaims that moment. Not as nostalgia, but as a reminder.
That liberty is not given. It is taken.
And that sometimes the most powerful leaders have no face, only a flag.
